Struggling to Withdraw My PF After Resignation: Any Advice on What to Do Next?

ankushpatel
Dear All, My name is Ankush Patel. I worked with ITSource Technologies Ltd, a limited company, and resigned one year ago. However, I am facing a lot of challenges in withdrawing my PF. I have been following up with their MD, CEO, and Account Manager for the last four months, but there has been no proper reply from them. I even sent a letter to Mr. S Durga Prasad (Regional PF Commissioner(I)) dated 14/5/2013 to complain about the same, but there has been no response. I have also escalated this matter to the PF Commissioner at the Delhi Head Office via the email addresses [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons] and [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons], but there has been no response. I don't know where to go or how to get my PF. If possible, please suggest what I should do to settle my PF.

Regards, Ankush Patel

Suggestions for PF Withdrawal Issues

My views/suggestions in this case are as follows:

- In case the forms have been submitted to the RPFC and not settled within 30 days, one can seek a remedy through the District Consumer Forum.

- If Mr. Patel has joined a new establishment, he can have the PF contributions transferred to the new establishment. He can file a complaint with the CPFC/Director Vigilance HO, New Delhi.

- Mr. Patel must first confirm that the forms have been submitted by his employer to the RPFC duly attested. If the employer has not attested and submitted the forms, he should immediately file a complaint with the RPFC, besides filling up fresh forms duly attested by his Bank Manager, etc., as prescribed in the form. He should then meet the RPFC with the request to settle it on priority, besides prosecuting the employer.

You can check your claim status at epfindia.com. If it has been submitted for settlement by your employer, you will instantly get the status online. If you realize that your claim has not been submitted yet, it would be better to transfer it to your current PF account, if you have one.

You can also visit your nearest PF office to check whether your ex-employer has submitted the claim form or not.
