Namaskar friends.
Under Article 21 of the Constitution of India right to life is guaranteed. The meaning of life is a class concept and include several rights, the interpretation of which goes on changing. Right to livelihood is also included in right to life in 1980s by the Supreme Court of India.
However, in common sense concept these two terms are conceived separately though both are very much interdependant. But what is intriguing that modern man had lost sight of life in favour of livelihood. I think recentlly focus on life is again gaining importance of course without losing sight of livelihood, that is, people are allotting some time for the betterment of life amidst all odds. What are your views friends?
