Some of the work a CFO typically does includes:
- Consolidation of Balance Sheets
- Leading a team of Chartered Accountants
- Preparation and audit of transfer pricing data and submission of TP returns
- Preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss Account
- Handling FBT, VAT, BPP, DTC Audit, Advance Tax calculations, and planning
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards
- Liaising with banks and financial institutions
- Conducting project appraisals, renewing C.C., and preparing and submitting CMA, QIS & QMR
- Involvement in strategic finance and corporate finance
- Understanding implications of mergers, takeovers, etc.
