Retirement and Employment Queries
I am working in a leading tyre manufacturing company. One of our employees attained the retirement age on 05.05.2013. Due to a shortage of manpower, we requested him to continue the job for another two months, and he agreed to do so. I have a couple of doubts:
1. Suppose he left the job on 05.05.2013, would he be eligible for gratuity payment? This is because he only has 2 years of experience with our company.
2. If he continues the job after the retirement age, is he still eligible for PF deduction?
