How Can I Create an Effective Training Calendar for Diverse Departments?

I am working with a telecom operations & maintenance company, and my company is planning an employee training program. I have been tasked with creating a training calendar focusing on the top 3 areas employees want to receive training in, which will benefit both the employees and the organization.

Employees are from various departments including HR, Finance & Accounting, Marketing & Sales, Operations & Maintenance. This training will be conducted by external resources.

Please guide me on how to proceed with this task.

You can ask HODs of all departments to conduct a skill gap analysis of all employees to identify training needs. Then, organize all the identified training sessions in a monthly calendar in an Excel sheet or any standard calendar format, specifying dates. Plan the training calendar from April to March. Prepare attendance sheets, feedback forms, and gather other necessary training accessories such as a projector, pencils, pens, papers, tea, and lunch. It's a straightforward task, with the only challenging part being the analysis of its effectiveness.

Thank you.

You should be able to incorporate the whole brain learning approach in your training. Understand the various techniques of experiential learning in training. Design and deliver content to cater to different personality styles. Design and deliver games and activities to draw out the learning relevant to your program objective. Develop training that ensures and maximizes the Return on Investment. Address behavioral modification from within by helping your participants unlearn their mindsets, attitudes, and habits.
