Dear Ramya,
The HR is a diversified department; the compensation vis-a-vis to experience depends on the role of an individual in Human Resource; it also depends on the qualification, education standard and size of the Organisation.
The more challenging role the more pay package one may have. Therefore in which specific area in HR you have gained seven years of experience.
Warm regards,

Dear Ramya,
I consider your experience at an Assistant Manager's level in Human Resource division therefore an ideal salary for an experience between 5 to 7 years would be between 5 - 7 Lakhs per annum (on CTC basis). Though this does depend on MBA pursued from which institute.
Warm regards,

Salary is also to be related to qualifications & post qualification experience. For example, if someone is MBA - HR & has an experience of 7 years after doing his/ her MBA, the remuneration may differ compared to another HR person who is non-MBA, but with same experience. In fact, it may different even for those who are MBAs, but from different institutes (say, IIM & a private college offering PGDM -HR, equivalent to MBA).
In addition to the above, there will be difference between large, medium & small size companies within/ across industry verticals. The picture may further differ between public sector, private companies (listed/ non-listed) & the Govt. sector.
Ramya, your query, therefore, needs to be more specific & focused. If you are an HR person, asking such questions is a matter of concern.

The question raised here reminds of a reply given by my tutor when some question of this type was raised, when I attended a Management Skills course for people who had been made "redundant". The tutor asked "Can any of you tell me what's the average price of bananas?" A student asked "Sir, could you please tell us what type of banana do you have in mind?"
I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to members to kindly provide all the details at the OUTSET, to save unnecessary discussions and help experts to give precise answers.
