Fuel Reimbursement

Good Afternoon,
Please confirm the fuel reimbursements which is part of employees ctc are tax free for the entire amount, or tax free to som extent and the rest is taxable ?

How the reimbursement will become part of CTC? It may be Fuel allowance. Fuel allowances are exempted from tax subject to production of proof and certified if those expenses are meant for official purposes.
