Where Does My PF Transfer Form Go After Switching Jobs? Seeking Clarification

I worked in company A from 2005 to 2007. I then worked in company B from 2007 to 2012. I have been working in company C since 2012. I submitted a PF transfer form when joining company B. Now, I would like to understand where my PF transfer form, which I filled out at company B, will be sent. Will it be sent to the PF office or to company A (previous employer)? Please clarify. If you have the right information, it would be helpful to me.

A copy of the transfer form should be sent to company "A" so that they can forward the same to their RPFC. Another copy should be sent by company "B" to their RPFC for information and to initiate the process of transfer.

Thank you, Dixon, for your help. I checked with Company-B regarding the delivery of the transfer form to Company-A, and they have not sent it (Company-B). They mentioned that since it pertains to 2007 (5+ years ago), they are unable to retrieve the records.

Options for Withdrawing PF Amount

Company-B has presented me with two options, as I intend to withdraw my PF amount:

Option 1: Fill out Form-19 & Form-10C, attach a canceled cheque leaf, and submit it to both Company-A and Company-B. Subsequently, Company-A and B will process the forms and forward them to the PF office.

Option 2: Complete Form-13 (the transfer form) and submit it to Company-B. They will process it accordingly and send it to Company-A.

I am unsure which option to choose. Ultimately, I aim to withdraw my PF amount. Could you please provide your insights?

Thanks again, Dixon. But while choosing option 1, are there any tax deductions? Because in company A, I served for 1.7 years, and in company B, I served for 5+ years. So, the total accumulated amount of PF to be withdrawn would be the same, right? Whether I go with option 1 or option 2, in both options, the amount would be the same, correct?

I understand that starting from July 2013, the concept of physical documents for transferring PF from an old to a new account is being eliminated. This process can now be done online without the need for anyone's intervention. Please let me know if this method works for you.
