Can We Split Minimum Wages into Parts and What Happens to PF Contributions?

Please guide me on whether we can bifurcate the minimum wages amount into different components and how it will affect the PF amount.

No, bifurcation of minimum wages is not permitted. Minimum wages should be treated as basic for the deduction of EPF accumulation. Please go through the circular enclosed.

Court Stay on Circular Regarding Minimum Wages

This circular has already been stayed by the Hon'ble Delhi High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court. However, it is still advisable not to split the minimum wages to avoid PF contributions altogether.

After reading the Supreme Court judgment, I find it incredulous that a High Court can grant a stay on an order by the Supreme Court.
