A question that has been bugging most of the personnel in the HSE profession is regarding NEBOSH, which is basically a certification that originates from the UK. This deals with how the HSE system should be managed and implemented. However, it is not legally recognized in India. Some companies do accept it based on the fact that it is a certification program awarded from the UK; otherwise, it does not hold weight.
Benefits of NEBOSH Certification
One of the benefits that this certification brings along is the fact that it is highly regarded for overseas jobs; however, its recognition in India is limited. The fundamentals of its teachings are more or less similar to what we learn in India, but the approach is more practical.
In my personal opinion, it is not merely holding an advanced certificate that drives the improvement of your implementation skills, but rather the interest you have in comprehending the issue at hand and devising a logical approach to solve it without incurring significant losses.
