Understanding Probation Leave: Do New Employees Get Backdated Paid Leaves?

Our employees are entitled to 12 PLs a year. My query is for probationers: upon confirmation, will they be entitled to the PL with retrospective effect, i.e., get a credit of 6 PLs for the probation period, or will the PLs start once the services are confirmed?

Our employees are entitled to 12 PLs a year. My query is for probationers: upon confirmation, will they be entitled to the PL with retrospective effect? Yes. In other words, will they receive a credit of 6 PLs for the probation period, or will the PLs start once the services are confirmed? PLs will be calculated from the date of joining but will be credited for the next calendar year for the work performed or rendered.
