Every year, the Dearness Allowance (DA) increases. You can understand this only if you have worked out the minimum wages. You should have the Tamil Nadu Minimum Wages book, which contains the basic and DA wages for each industry, designation/cadre, and zone. You can obtain it from Sitaram & Co.

Hi HR folks, I work in the hotel sector. Here, they do not provide a salary breakdown but calculate the salary based on the gross amount for all the PF, ESI, and other deductions. I would like to know the minimum wages for the year 2013-2014, specifically for the hotel industry. Can anyone share this information?
