You have it exactly right, Sree. e-HR is about automating our HR functions for efficiency, centralization of data, and ease of use. For example, in e-Recruitment, we can limit ourselves to a simple job portal to collect resumes or go as far as performing online assessments like P&G. Either way, if implemented correctly, it can speed up daily activities and help in trend analysis.

I am trying to find a framework for the implementation of an HRIS, possibly to be put in the form of a Gantt chart, clearly identifying tasks and sequence. Can anyone help me?

I need clarification on the roles of HR and areas of concern, specifically:
a) Functional, and
b) Operational.
I would also like to understand the differences between HR as a journalist and HR as a specialist.

Hello, I've been asked to do a project on ERP in HR. I'm completely clueless on how to go about it... The only thing I know is I have to avoid the technical aspect. If you are aware of how an ERP is implemented in a company, please do let me know. Any website reference or PPT will do.
