Industrial DA W.e.f 01.04.2013 Onwards

Dear friends,
Greetings to all on the occasion of HOLI and EASTER. As you know that the Industrial DA w.e.f 01.01.2013 is 71.5% and 189.5% for 2007 & 1997 pay scales respectively.
Now the IDA is enhanced to 74.9% (diff. 3.4%) and 195.3% (5.8%) respectively w.e.f 01.04.2013.

Dear Sir,
I need your guidance to explain the VDA calculation from the CPI index. Eg:
the basic pay for a worker is 2165
CPI for the month is 210
original base is 1960 current base is 2001
multipliers from 1960 to 1980 is 4.73 & from 1980 to 2001 is 5.66
what would be the DA to be given to the worker for the month ? how to calculate form the above information ?

I am very late to notice your postings. If you still want my response, kindly provide the base points in compliance with the last wage revision. For example; the Central PSUs where wage revision has taken place in 2007, the base point is 2884 (1960) or 126.33 (2001). Similarly for 1997 scales the base point is 1708 (1960).
