Dear Gowramma,
As for as Recovery of Wages is concerned:
It looks that all your request with management has turned down and as a last resort, you may have to do the following. You all should be prepared to have a strained relationship with management or else management will give you sweet talk and make you to go further drain.
First - All the faculty together, give representation to management regarding non payment of wages with copies to a) Labour Commissioner b) AICTE /Education Administration Authority c) Labour Minister both at Central and State d) Education Minister both at Central and State. If nothing is working, then you may have to move to Civil Court and Labour Court for recover of dues.
As for as Life is concerned:
The faculty members belongs to working class. Without wages, sustaining is difficulty. Each will have family, children may be studying. Life will be tough without wages. There are employer who don't care to pay in spite of pressure from authorities.
To sustain you need work which can gives wages is more important. It is for you and your other colleagues to look for alternative employment or else life will become more dangerous. It will give rise to family disputes where the bread earner will loose respect and peace. You can recall an employees wife in Kingfisher (King of good times) killed herself for similar reasons. Don't wait for things to go out of hand. Act immediately since I can understand the pain you all going through. I am sure, most of you are depressed and it is a difficult phase.
This is one of the options and you may choose advise of other members who have contributed here.
All the best.
