Navigating Job Change: Are Offer and Relieving Letters Enough Without Salary Slips?

sunil_1410@rediff.com
Respected sir/madam, I have been working as a Sr. Software Developer at a software company for 4 years. However, this company is not registered with the government, so we are not tax-paying entities. We do not even receive Form 16 as this company pays us in cash.

I am now looking to change my job based on my experience. My current company has provided me with an offer letter and will also issue a relieving letter, which will include details such as my last drawn salary and other relevant information.

Question About Job Transition

My question is, are the offer letter and this relieving letter sufficient for me to secure a new job? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

An offer letter and experience or relieving letters are enough. Ask them to provide payslips and request confirmation that payment was made via cash. Hiding the facts is not good.
