Facing Salary Deductions and Missing Documents After Resignation: What Can I Do?

rajanimary
Hi all, I was working in a franchise-owned hotel with an international brand. I joined on 1st September 2012 and worked until 28th February 2013. I did not receive any appointment letter despite regular follow-ups with HR. I resigned on 18th February 2013 and served a notice period of 10 days. However, when I went to take the clearance two days ago, they had deducted my salary for 20 days without any intimation. I requested my salary, and now they are saying the HR has changed, and it is my mistake that I did not receive the appointment letter. They are now stating that they will not provide me with any letters that were promised at the time of resignation. What can I do? I have the payslips for 6 months and the FnF settlement papers. Please advise.

Regards,
Rajni

Don't worry. You have the right to receive your salary. Directly talk with your old company's MD. Hopefully, he will help you.
