Can't Download Files After Login – Why Does It Keep Redirecting Me to Subscribe?

I can't download files even after logging in. The page redirects to the subscription page. Please help.

Hi, why is it that I cannot access any attachments? It redirects to my comments page. Please advise. Also, is this the right forum for such queries?

Hi Anneline, can you try once more? We are working on making the downloads more accessible, even when the user is logged out. This may have been one of the errors, and I think it's fixed. Kindly check and let us know.

Dear Sid, upon clicking any attachments, I am being directed to the USER CONTROL PANEL. I have tried a few more times, but the problem still remains. Thank you very much for your support.

Hi Taj, we have actually opened up attachment downloads to all users—even those who are logged out. Logged-out users just need to provide an email address, and the download starts. We conduct email verification later.

We believe that if a user does not recognize the usefulness of this community, they will probably not be interested in returning even if we confirm their email. Surprisingly, even without verification, people are providing their actual emails for the downloads. With this process change, we have tripled our email subscription rates—from 2K to 6K. We are also encouraging our members to +1 our pages when they download a file. Google +1 has become a significant ranking factor, and without these votes, we cannot rank well on search keywords.
