PF Annual Return Not Required ?

There is an information that annual returns of PF is not required further --- effect from 2011 - 2012 .. is it true ?

No it is not true that pf annual return are not required to submit for the the accounting year 2011-12, on the other hand it is submitted the EPFO has switched online services w.e.f 01/03/2012 and now for the year 2012-13 it is not needed to submit the annual return if the ECR is regularly uploaded upon the e-sewa portal of EPFO w.e.f 01/03/2012 onwards. prior to fy 2012-13, all returns are required to be submitted in hard copy as well as txt file of 3-A is also required to be submitted for the year 2011-12 in due respect for reconlisation of pf acounts.

We have also made the annual returns FY 2011-12 by submitting hard copies.

Dear RB Sir,
I would like to know whether is it necessary to give one challan copy to PF office after getting accepted challan copy from the bank.
