New to Contractor Management? Need Help with R.C Procedure and Required Documents?

If you are the principal employer, you need the following documents:

1. Application form-1
2. Agreement of every contractor
3. POA of signature authority
4. Form-XII (Register of contractors)
5. Fees as per manpower

If you are a contractor, you require:

1. Form-V from the Employer
2. Agreement
3. Application form-IV
4. Fees as per manpower

Kuldeep ji rightly answered your query. I wish to add the following points:

1. RC is for you, i.e., PE, and not for contractors, as you mentioned in your query.
2. Kuldeep ji has provided a list of basic documents required to obtain RC and License. In addition to those documents, each state government has its own list of additional documents. For instance, some states require affidavits or undertakings from employers for specific compliances. Each authority follows a different procedure.

To discover the necessary forms, formats, and other required documents and procedures in your state, it is recommended that you reach out to the appropriate authority.

You have not mentioned the state where you seek RC under CLA. I presume you are in Delhi. If you are in Karnataka, there is a separate procedure in addition to the above, and the scheme is called SAKAL wherein we have to submit various authenticated documents. If in Karnataka, I can help you.
