PF Claim Already Settled But I Had Never Claimed

Hi,
I submitted the PF settlement form after a gap of 5 years and received a letter that the claim is already settled. I had submitted the forms recently for the first time how can i show it claim already settled? Pls help

I would suggest you to visit the PF office personally and meet the concerned clerk. If things do not get sorted out there, please approach the PF Commissioner. Sometimes, such errors do take place as there are numerous accounts to be handled by a single clerk.
