I am a second year HR student who is specialising in HR. I need help on the topic of succession planning. Specifically, the details ( step by step)of the process, implementation etc. It is to develop a succession planning model that the organisations can use. Hope you seniors will help me out on this. Sharing your experience/ any reference/ books etc will be appreciated.

Recruitment (incentive to hire)
Training (present liability; mining potential)
Retention (give ‘em an excuse to stay)
Career Path (hope for upward mobility)
Mentoring (modeling bahavior)
Promotion (move ‘em along’ compensate accordingly – see “Retention”)
Also find enclosed a set of files that are downloaded from different web sites.
