Please find attached latest circular from ESIC.............................................. .................................................. ..

Dear Sir / Madam,
Requesting to you pls share new circular, as per new circular Esic will debit up to 21000 gross salary, this is applicable from 1st Oct 2016.
We visit on Employees's State Insurance Corporation for new Esic circular but there is not showing, We need new circular copy for our record.
Pls do the needful

Sir, I think, the issue regarding enhancement of wage ceiling under ESI Act, 1948 has still not been finalized and no intention notification has so far been issued. If possible, you can confirm the position either from ESIC or from Ministry of Labour & Employment, Central Govt.

wages increased from 15000 to 21000.

Sir, Central Govt. has now issued draft intention notification regarding enhancement of wage ceiling to Rs.21000/- under ESI Act, 1948. Copy of Gazette Notification dt. 06-10-2016 is attached herewith for kind information of members of this forum.It is, however, submitted that this is an intention notification and it is expected that the appropriate govt. will decide as per contents mentioned in the notification.

Can you please confirm me about the latest ESIC contribution slab. Is it Rs. 21000/-? If yes, please send the latest circular for our ready reference.

Sir, wage ceiling under ESI Act, 1948 has been enhanced w.e.f. 01/01/2017 to Rs.21000/- per month vide Central Govt. notification dated 22/12/2016.
