As per internal circullar of PF/ESIC inspector,
Basic + DA wages cannot be less than Miniumum wages.
if above minimum wages, Not less then 55% of gross.
Means Minimum wages or 55% of gross whichever is higer is applicable.
If you not follow the basic rules, PF and Labour dept may create objection and give the order of balance payment.
It has been no of time in india.
Now a days, PF Dept is online. they can easily check with basic wages, whether it is below then minimum wages or not ?
So please, I want to suggest everybody. Pleaase Follow the govt. rules if you not want any problum in future.

Dear Ms.Preeti,
If employee has worked for 13 days then PF calculated on total 13+2w/off =15 day because as per the weekly Holidays act ,1942 ,every employee eligible for One weekly holiday in week after six days working.
Preeti Shukla
Dear Shrikanth,
If we take 1st method also...how can be 18 days...its will be 15 days...i.e 15+2(Sundays)...
How can we take those Sundays for the weeks he has not worked
Please clear
