How Can I Implement Performance Appraisal Process In Our Company.......?

Dear Seniors,

My company has 100 employees; it is an IT-based company. For the first time in my company, I have to implement a performance appraisal process. I am having the following doubts regarding its implementation:

- How many times should the appraisal be given per year?
- In which months should we appraise salaries?
- Which method is the best: MBO, 360 Degrees, or self-appraisal?

Please provide formats as well to help me understand the process easily.

Even though I am not aware of Performance Appraisal, I am trying to reply to your post.

1. Performance Appraisal will happen once in HR.
2. You can do it in January or at the start of the financial year.
3. Go with MBO.

If interested, you can initiate a request for a live demo. This will probably meet all your requirements since the IT company offering this solution has been using it for their own employees for the last 3 years.

Since yours is an IT company, it may be worthwhile to opt for an automated performance appraisal system right from the beginning.
