Hello All, I have just started a new job with a facility management and maintenance company. It has sister companies offering various services as well. I am currently on a 2-week probationary period, during which my performance will determine my confirmation.

Current Task: Developing Process Flows

My current task is to develop a process flow for each task outlined in the job descriptions for all positions. This is a new challenge for me as a new HR professional. I would greatly appreciate any urgent assistance. I have already used up one week of the probation period.

Need for Sample Process Flow Documents

I am in need of a sample process flow document for the job descriptions of a Finance and Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Facility Manager, Business Support Manager, Internal Control Manager, Janitors, and IT Consultant.

You are in a very difficult situation and need external professional help. However, because the two-week period is a "test" period for your competence, you will have to do things by yourself to prove your skills and competence. The completion of the project is not the issue. It is the quality or correctness of the outputs that you will produce that will show your higher management whether you are competent for the job or not.

Developing a "process flow" for each job (role or task) in an organization is a difficult and specialized job. It takes time to be able to make one due to the analysis and understanding of all the work processes that go with each job. Hence, a two-week timeline for you to create all flows for your company is nearly impossible. Even your managers cannot do it in the same timeline.

Work Process Flow is generally undertaken by companies through ISO Certification projects. Highly skilled industrial engineers, management practitioners/consultants, and organizational auditors normally perform this job. The entire project is generally counted and paid in terms of man-days.
