Seeking Advice on Career Advancement in Finance

I am a 38-year-old full-time working finance professional, but I do not have a master's degree in the finance area. It is becoming a hurdle in my career growth now. Please advise on the rapid and dynamic course I should pursue in the finance field, which will be beneficial even if I decide to make a career change.

You can pursue a postgraduate Diploma in Finance, or you can go for an Executive MBA in Finance. Experience cannot be a substitute for any degree.

Considering your age and experience, I would like to suggest that you pursue a professional course. C.A. or ICWA would be time-consuming. Therefore, the next option would be the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) course, which is well-recognized by most of the MNCs operating in India. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is another option, but it would be more time-consuming than CMA. For CMA, there are several coaching centers all over India that you can find on the web. It should also be possible for you to receive some exemptions based on your current educational qualifications and experience.
