Struggling to Keep My Dementia Care Business Afloat: Seeking Volunteer Mentor for Financial Guidance

Hi, I started up my own business, Enerjoy Care Services, four years ago after my own mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We specialize in managing the care and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers. Although the work is challenging, we are achieving incredible results and making a real difference in our clients' lives. I have gradually expanded the staff to include two care managers, and recently, a registered nurse has joined us. Despite our success in service, we are not making sufficient profit. This is due to poor costing, insufficient clients because of a lack of marketing skills, and inadequate financial knowledge and management. We really need a mentor who is willing to assist on a voluntary basis, with strong overall business and financial skills to help turn the business around.

Training Caregivers

Part of my work is training caregivers, and I have noticed how people blossom when they are given support, knowledge, and practical skills in applying the knowledge into their daily life.
