Planning a Fun, Low-Cost Team-Building Activity for 20 IT Professionals – Any Ideas?

Hi all, I have recently joined an organization and am planning to organize a team-building/employee recreation activity that would be fun to do. The goal is for everyone to know each other better and improve communication. It would be for a team of around 20 IT professionals. Any suggestions on what activities could be done and how? (Low-cost activities will be appreciated).
