How "Rich Dad Poor Dad" Changed My Perspective on Overcoming Fear and Embracing Change

Was reading a wonderful book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad," for the fourth time. I believe in "Secret," and a good friend of mine handed over "Rich Dad Poor Dad" to me 6 years back. Time has changed, and so has my mindset. I was reading it again and could relate to this quote:

“It is said that the fear of public speaking is a fear greater than death for most people. According to psychiatrists, the fear of public speaking is caused by the fear of ostracism, the fear of standing out, the fear of criticism, the fear of ridicule, the fear of being an outcast. THE FEAR OF BEING DIFFERENT PREVENTS MOST PEOPLE FROM SEEKING NEW WAYS TO SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS."

A must-read for those who want to change their life... "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Mr. Robert Kiyosaki.

Tejas.

Loved this one too: “There are fast ideas and slow ideas, just as there are fast trains and slow trains. When it comes to money, most people are on the slow train looking out the window watching the fast train pass them by. If you want to become rich quickly, your plan must include fast ideas.”

Dear Tejas, as per your CiteHR post about the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad," I really appreciate that you shared your thoughts with us.

You mentioned in your post:

I hope you don't mind, but I just want to know if you have applied this in practice, and if so, what exactly did you gain from it? My question is whether you have already applied your thoughts or if you plan to apply them. How has it been fruitful to you?

Dev, I appreciate your thoughts and comments. Yes, I have applied those thoughts and ideas, and it has been tremendously fruitful, both in terms of monetary rewards and how I see life and enjoy it.

Hey Jacob, thank you for sharing your thoughts. They are really insightful and 100% agreeable. Definitely, anyone who understands the mindset of a businessman would agree with your comments on the "Comfort Zone" and "Instant Gratification" mentality.
