Hi everyone, please tell me the exact definition of what self-focusing is in social psychology. I need this for my assignment. If there is an example that anyone could mention, that would be more helpful.
Please search the web for general information like this and post what you think the definition could be. It's a far better way to learn than seeking answers on a plate. For example, I am no expert, but I found some information at Social Psychology: Third Edition by Eliot R. Smith and Diane M. Mackie regarding Self and Thoughts About Ourselves and Others.
