Stability Certificate Form 1A: How Long Is It Valid Under the Factory Act and When to Renew?

Dear Friends, how many years is the Stability Certificate Form 1A valid for as per the Factory Act? Do I need to renew it every year? Kindly guide me.

A Stability Certificate is issued by an Authorized Person in Form 1A with a validity of 5 years. After the initial 5 years, a new stability certificate is required. It is essential to verify the validity of the Authorized Person.

Stability Certificate Validity by State

Stability certificate validity depends on rules; hence, it varies from state to state. In Tamil Nadu, the stability certificate is valid for 3 years, while in Kerala, it is valid for 5 years. In Andhra Pradesh, the stability certificate is issued once after the completion of building construction.
