Dear Ratnakar,
You must have received letter from the ESIC Dept for Interest and Damages.
According to the instructions mentioned in the letter, the challan has to be paid in the said heading.
On the website, once you log in, go to the link Recovery/Defaulter Challan and NOT omitted Wages.
In the drop down menu, you will find the list of various challan heads, like C-18(i) for Interest , D-18 for damages etc..
Select the relevant challan head and generate the challan.
Incase, you donot understand the head, you can send me the softcopy of the letter and I'll guide you.

But Manasi
The way you are telling is not correct. As when I enter the amount it shows the entered amount is greater than the selected amount. As there is no amount in C-18. But I recieve a letter regarding this.

To pay penalty Interest for ESIC, just login to www.esic.in web portal and after your login with your credentials, just go to link Recovery-Defaulter and you will find a drop down option at the top left just select the 18(i) from the drop down and click submit button and you will get the list of your late payment details with total interest to be paid. once you got those information you can proceed your payment option at the bottom of the screen (Offline / Online), if you have current account with Statebank of Inida you can proceed with Online payment (provided you should have internet banking enabled) otherwise you may go with Offline payment in which you need to fill out your Cheque and bank details for making the offline payment.
I hope you would help you to make your Delayed (Interest) payment of ESIC.
Thanks

@akashmandy

if contributions are filed and paid timely then there is no penalty for non filing of half yearly return
