I am wasim i have got selected in a Automotive company for a post of operating engineer . now they are doing background verification through agencies
please tell me what are the steps of background verification for my post and how long it will take. please comment...

Hi Wasim,
A background verification involves knowing about the candidate.
If you are having experience and are or were working formerly / previously, they would require references from your work place who could give information on
1. Your Date of Join
2. Your tenure there
3. Your roles & responsibilities
4. Your achievements & credibility
and other things
If however you are a fresher, you should provide references of your professors who knows you.
The process should be over in 3 to 7 days depending on the intensity and importance of the verification details and the work pressure they already have.
