Registration Under Shops & Establishment Act - Shop & Establishment Act [Thread 44683]

Hi,
We are international company having branch office in Gurgoan. We have almost 15-20 employees working in the office. Is it mandatary to register uder Shops & Establismeht Act. If yes how to go about it and which are the mandetary requirements as per labor law.

Yes , itis mandatory. for this,u should contact concerned labour authorities of gurgaon. their office is in mini secritariat at 4th floor.

Ours is an IT company in Kerala, registered as 100% EOU under the STPI, Trivandrum. Do we need to get registered under the Factories Act or Shops and Establishments Act?
