Feeling Stuck and Underpaid in HR: How Do I Navigate This Career Dilemma?

Hi All, I started my career in 2007 as a CCE with a reputed firm. At that time, I found that job to be a blessing since I had a few financial issues and thought of becoming independent. I was just 19, had no one to guide me on what a BPO is, what challenges I would face, and where my future would land. I adjusted to the very new environment, and soon I realized what a CCE does. However, since I came and joined, I thought of continuing with the same job and going back to my family.

After a year, based on my performance and internal job posting, I got shifted to the HR department as a recruiter. Since then, I have thought of making my career in the same field (although it was not my wish). I worked there for another three years, got promoted again, and things were going smoothly. However, gradually I realized that I was being paid very little compared to my juniors who were just being hired in the same department. The best things have already come to you. You have years of experience with a reputed firm. Have you added to your education since you joined? Pay is directly related to the tasks you deliver; however, you stand a better chance when supported with relevant certifications and a degree.
