Transitioning from BPO to IT: How Can I Start My Career Shift Successfully?

Hi Everyone, I have completed an MSc in Computer Science and have worked in the BPO sector for almost 5-6 years. Currently, I am a Team Lead in a BPO. I am looking to transition into the IT industry, but I am unsure about how and where to start. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

First, list out the skills and knowledge you have acquired in your back-office operations and how you can leverage those skills in combination with your computer skills/knowledge for a job in a software company. Suppose your BPO deals with banking products. How can your knowledge and skills in dealing with banking products, combined with your computer knowledge, be helpful in developing software related to banking operations? You can target IT companies that design and prepare banking software in the first instance.

Hi, I have completed my B.Tech in IT in 2010 and worked in the BPO sector, accumulating almost 2.6 years of experience. I have also completed a manual testing course. I am unsure of how to switch from BPO to IT. Can anyone provide guidance on this transition?
