Hello, I am working as an HR executive in a company. Please suggest salary slabs as per the Minimum Wages Act. For example, Basic - ?, D.A - ?, HRA - ?, Conveyance - ?, Others - ?
Generally, the Basic is 40% to 50% of the Gross salary. HRA is 20% of the Basic, conveyance is around 1000 (depends on the company), and there are Special allowances (adjustable), Medical allowances, etc.
The minimum wage is not universal; it varies according to the job type, industry, and location. It is better to refer to your respective state laws on minimum wages. What Mr. Dixit suggested is a general industry practice, and I second him.
