Sure, I can provide you with information on Transactional Analysis. Transactional Analysis is a psychoanalytic theory and method of therapy that examines interactions and communications among individuals. It was developed by Eric Berne in the 1950s. Transactional Analysis focuses on analyzing and improving communication patterns to promote personal growth and change. It is often used in counseling, psychotherapy, education, and organizational development to enhance understanding of interpersonal relationships and behavior. Let me know if you need more specific details or have any other questions.

Transaction is a unit of social interaction when two meet, and one of them will speak, which is a transactional stimulus. The other who will reply will be a transactional response.

Transactional analysis is a method of examining this one transaction wherein I do something to you, and you do something back. It involves determining which part of the multiple-natured individual is being activated.

Hi Bhawana,

You have nicely and in simple terms stated about T.A. I learned about T.A. while I was undergoing training at HAL in Bangalore, and the faculty member was Dr. Gopal Valecha, a professor at IIM Bangalore. When you practice such a technique, your mind and body also get tuned to it. It is a technique in "human behavior." What causes "behavior"? There is a "stimulus," and there is a "response" to this stimulus.

But when you always become a TA man, the dark side of this technique is that you become mechanical and, in all probability, you lose your naturalness, which is very dangerous for future learning. This is my experience, and these words were also expressed by Prof. Gopal Valecha, who earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the USA. If someone still wants to experience what I have said, they may try and revert back to me on this site about their experience of practicing TA.

Regards,

Yours sincerely,

Yes, please help with materials for designing and developing programs for therapeutic aims because I'm studying for my Ph.D., and I'm at a complete loss as in Egypt the sources are very rare, not to mention the absence of training centers. Many thanks in advance.
