How Long Does PF Settlement Really Take After Submitting Documents?

Hi all, how long does it take for the PF settlement after submitting all the documents and receiving a message from EPFO that your request is in process?

Hi Gaurav, it should not take more than 15 to 20 days from then. The total duration from the date of submission is 45 to 60 days.

Thank you. So, what should I do now? I received a message from EPFO dated 02-10-2012 stating that the document was received on 15-09-2012, and it mentioned that my request is currently in process.

First, check with your bank whether the amount has been credited or not. You can also check with your ATM for a balance enquiry or mini statement. If the amount has not been credited, you can visit the concerned EPFO office and inquire about the delay.
