Discussion Topics for New Hires

For new hires, you may always ask them to elaborate on their experience. According to their tenure, ask them about some good experiences and bad experiences they have faced. What do they expect from the organization? How do they envisage their future in the company? These are a few topics to discuss.

Thank you.

Hi Ravi, it is a questionnaire that we ask our new employees to fill in. I need some new and good questions to put in it. Thanks for your time.

Post-joining feedback is different from the introductory emails you are looking for. In case there is a company intranet, one can upload details of the new joiners or alternatively send a mailer with information such as: photograph, education, skills, experience, hobbies, previous employers, family details, and a motivational line from the employee themselves which may have become their personal tagline.

Most good organizations practice feedback at 7, 30, 60, and 90 days after joining.

Thanks for all your feedback. I need to change the questions in the questionnaire. Please suggest. We are trying to change the old style. Please give me more ideas on how I can improve the introduction of a new employee through mail.
