Gratuity Concerns: How Will My Benefits Be Calculated After 7 Years in Dubai?

Assalam alaikum. I am working in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE. As my company has a project in another country, they have decided to send me for that project. However, they informed me that they will be canceling my visa from this company and sending me back to my home country. In my home country, I will receive a new visa for the other country.

Gratuity Calculation Inquiry

I would like to know how my gratuity will be calculated as I have been with the company since April 2006 until now, and this coming April will mark my completion of 7 years. I also seek information on whether the days I stay in my home country before joining the new project will be paid.

Regarding your gratuity, you will receive 21 days per year for the first 5 years. After 5 years, you will be paid for 30 days. You cannot claim for the days during which you stayed in your country because you cancelled your visa, and it is stated in the cancellation that you will receive all your dues.
