Continue With A New Client Or Look For A New Job ? -Need Suggestion To Put Down My Papers

Ashwini Mhapankar
Dear All,

I am sharing one problem which I am facing currently. I am working with an engineering firm as a HR Generalist but this company outsource the HR so I am working on a Payroll of one HR Consultant over here my direct reporting is to the director of the HR Consultancy. My constancy has signed the 1 year contract with this company.

Unfortunately this company director passed away in November he was the whole & sole of the organisation, now his wife is handling the business & working as a Director from now onwards but as she is very new in this industry they have appointed one general operation's manager, who is now taking care of overall business. As the main chair person passed away in market people are worried to give any new business to this company now, so they are running short of funds, this is the reason the new operation manager has decided to terminate some employees with one month notice.

I came to know that they does not want the HR department as well so they may give us one month notice & to wind up the contract. I have informed this thing to my consultancy Director now he suggested me that I should not be worry as I am not working on company's payroll, If this contract is finished he will shift me to their another client. Now the problem is I am confused that should I continue with the New Client or to give my formal resignation to search a new option.

Please help me with some suggestions.

Thank You all in anticipation.

Why will you resign till you get another job ?
If your consultancy has other clients to shift you to, then why worry
If you re going to shift, why not find a job first and then change
