Govind Jaiswal, the son of a rickshaw puller, is now an IAS officer. He was ranked 48th among 474 successful candidates. His father sold his land for ₹40,000 to send his son to Delhi for preparation, while Govind struggled throughout his life, enduring 14-hour power cuts, the deafening noise of generators surrounding his tiny house, and working at his grocery store to make a living. Hats off to both of them! I wish him the best of luck.
