Dear Manas Roy,

Recently, we have recruited 65 students from ITI. We have adopted the following procedures listed below:

1. Contact the Recruitment cell of ITI.
2. After fixing the interview date, we conducted a written test along with a personal interview with the students.
3. Next, we sent the list of selected students to ITI.
4. Upon receiving the list, they confirmed the date of joining for all students.
5. Following the schedule provided by ITI, we obtained Bond forms (04 copies) from all students along with their attested qualification certificates (attested by a gazetted officer).
6. Subsequently, we sent 03 copies to the District Apprenticeship Adviser for departmental activities.

I hope that the above-mentioned procedures satisfy you.

Regards,
Kuldeep Kumar

Dear Kuldeep Ji, we are already following procedures such as interviews, written exams, and bonds. The issue lies with the legal procedure.

Procedure for Recruiting Apprentices

I have learned about a procedure that I would like to share with you:

- The Apprentice Officer needs to assess our need for recruiting apprentices.
- Subsequently, they will issue a letter to us, specifying the number of individuals we are allowed to engage in each category, such as electricians, welders, fitters, etc.
- Upon receiving this letter, we can proceed with recruiting and registering the appointments with the Apprentice Officer.

Please let me know if anything is incorrect here.

Thank you,
Manas Roy Chowdhury

Presently, the ratio is 1 apprentice to 7 employees. If you want to recruit additional students, you will need to obtain special permission from the District Apprenticeship Advisor. We recently encountered this issue, but we were able to obtain special approval in this regard. Please contact the District Apprenticeship Advisor, as he may assist you in this matter.

Thank you.
Regards.
