Hazardus Chemicals & Wastes - Public Communication

Dear Friends,
We display the Hazardous chemicals used and its available quantity in the facility and hazardous waste we generate and its qty out side the facility for public communication. I wish to know whats the "Rule" mandates this. Pls. let me know.

I am sure U must possess the relevant Rules, Acts and other guidelines with U. In think U must refer all Pollution Control Regulations of Central & State Govts. should give enough guidelines. May be the attached document also may give U some input.

The Pollution control acts are too voluminous, however pl.refer the 'Hazardous chemicals rules, to start with.

Dear SSM,
This requirement has come after the Bhopal tragedy.
The Hon Supreme Court issued the guidelines to industries to display the data of Haz chemicals and qty used, Haz. waste Generated etc.
The intension is any interested party should know if he is going to be affected by the industry operations.
Hope this clears the matter.

Thank you for your valuable input. Though this is promulgated by The Hon Supreme Court, this is requlated by the PCB. Pls. let me know what specific rule under PCB requires this.
