EPF Salary Calculation Changes: How Do New Rules Affect Your Contributions?

I have just come to know that EPFO has made changes to calculate the salary basic for EPF. According to the new calculation, all allowances must be added to the basic for the purpose of EPF contributions. Does anyone have any idea about this? Please share.
