Why we use boolean search on naukri, waht is the use of that. There r many specific search. Pls tell me the by making comparision with other search?

I worked in an organisation exactly for 4 years & 6 months, am i applicable to gratuity?
if yes, let me know the detail calculation, How much i will get in form of gratuity??
My present Basic + DA = 18500 / month.

Hello Vivek,
First of all thanks for the excel sheet.You have said that if any employee completes 4 years & 8 months in a company than he/she is applicable for gratuity. So if any employees completes 4 years & 9 months in a company how the gratuity will be calculated. As i tried on the excel & no value is shown in this case. Or I have to consider it as complete 5 years?

In BPOs - the monthly working days are 22 as there is weekly off for Saturday also. So in that case will it be counted as 15/22 or still the formula of 15/26 will be applied?

The basic rule of 26 days should apply, if that is the rule. However, cross check with HR. :)

Can anyone suggest that, an Employee Joining an Organization in the month of December (Say 01.12.1991) and Retiring on (Say 15.05.2015). What is the no. of years he is eligible for the Payment of Gratuity ?
