Please Explain Me EPF Balance Balance Message And Help Me In PF Withdrawal.

Hi,

I had worked for the PSL company in Visakhapatnam, and my PF account is registered in GUJARAT RAJKOT. I left the company on 01/Aug/12.

I submitted my PF withdrawal Form 19 on 02/Aug/12 to my company, but I have not yet received my PF amount.

On 06/12/12, I checked my EPF Balance and claim status on the EPF India website.

Regarding my EPF balance, I received an SMS stating: "EPF balance in A/C No. GJ/RAJ/0016668/000/0002523 is EE amount 55831, ER amount 17081 as of 06-10-12 (accounts updated up to 31-03-2012) - EPFO."

I am confused about the dates mentioned, specifically the date 06/10/12 and 31/03/12. I stopped working on 01/Aug/12, so I am unsure why the dates are after my last working day.

When checking the claim status, I received an error message stating:

STATUS for Member ID: GJRAJ00166680000038787

* No record found

* Data available since last six months.

* RAJKOT data available from 06-06-2012. Last updated on 05-12-2012 at 05:33 pm.

* Approval Details on PPO and Scheme Certificates will be made available soon.

I am uncertain why I received this message and whether my PF Form 19 has been submitted to the PF office or not. I urgently need the withdrawal money.

First possibility is that they have not shown you resigned on 01.08.2012, that's why your A/C is showing the error message. Firstly, contact your HR person to get the exact date of resignation they forwarded to the EPFO Department.

It means that the accounts of your establishment (company) are updated up to 31.3.12. You can get the position up to 31.3.12 since the office has updated the annual accounts of your company before 6.10.12. If it was done after that date, the system would have shown the data as on 31.3.11.

This simply means that your application has not been received in the concerned PF office. Please contact the HR department of your company.

One clarification is required --- is your account number 2523 or 38787? You have mentioned 2523 in the balance enquiry and 38787 in the claim status. Please reconfirm.
