I am using the RPU (Return Preparation Utility) to prepare the quarterly return. I have a few queries:
1. Quarterly Return for TDS on Salary
When preparing the quarterly return for TDS on salary in Annexure I, do I have to enter the salary for each month in a separate row? For example, if I am preparing the return for quarter 1 (April to June), should I enter the month-wise details in three rows for employee ABC, or do I enter the total salary for April to June in one row?
2. Taxable Amount for Tax Deduction
Regarding the taxable amount on which tax is deducted, what should I enter here? Do I enter the total of allowances (conveyance + PTax), or just the total of allowances?
